So I have few things I am super excited about!
1) Having read my blog post regarding their sales (and I guess company as a whole), Picture it on Canvas! decided to interview me for an article on their blog! They have been trying to feature local artists and after seeing my portfolio They thought I would be a perfect candidate to kick things off. Please feel free to give it a read! Comments and feedback (constructive of course) are always appreciated.
2) This weekend I am traveling up to Twentynine Palms, CA to photograph the chalk murals during the annual Twentynine Palms Street Fair & Car Show (Saturday, June 2nd 4-9pm). Amy Burkman, my friend and artist, has been asked to participate as one of the muralist showcasing their talents on the pavement. In turn she has asked me to accompany and man her booth while she creates something spectacular on the pavement. I can’t wait to capture her work from start to finish. I will also make sure to take document the other talent there too. Needless to say it will be a great time, if not incredibly sunny! I am packing SPF 50 and I hear that I am going to need it. :-/
